Senior Controls Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining electrical design and controls programming with project ownership. The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, and comfortable working directly with customers and other engineers. They can manage multiple projects, adapt to changing requirements, and contribute to a collaborative team. Responsibilities Develop electrical designs and PLC/HMI programs.Work with customers to understand technical requirements and develop solutions.Coordinate project schedules and collaborate with other engineering team members.Manage priorities across multiple projects of varying size and duration.Travel to customer sites as needed to support project startup. Qualifications Engineering degree or 7–10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.Experience with both electrical design and PLC/automation controller programming.HMI programming experience.Experience coordinating projects and working directly with customers.Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently while contributing to a team. Experience with Rockwell Automation, AVEVA InTouch, Schneider EcoStruxure, or Ignition is preferred, but experience with every platform is not required.
