For our headquarters in Atlanta, we are looking for a Software Engineer starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities Develop real-time AI/ML processing systems for edge sensor signal processing, such as drone detection and automated target recognitionIntegrate Walaris software and technology into military and commercial security systems to add autonomous capabilities and boost overall system performanceParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and deploymentOwn the software solutions that are deployed to customersWrite code to improve products and scale the mission capability to a greater number of customersStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve our products and processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that requirements from R&D, sales, and product management are fully integrated and effectively addressed throughout the development process Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field1-3 years of experience as a software engineer specializing in real-time, high-throughput data processing, ideally within AI-driven applicationsKnowledge of object-oriented software development, preferably in Python or C++Background in Linux-based developmentProficiency in developing unit tests to ensure code qualityExperience working with Docker or other containerization framework Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab pipelines or JenkinsPreferred Qualifications Experience in frameworks such as PyTorch, Flask, GStreamer, and DeepstreamExperience with edge processing Exposure to NVIDIA Jetson devices Experience with NumPyExport Control Requirements To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State Benefits Walaris is a growing company building complex software systems for defense, national security, government, and critical infrastructure customers worldwide.
