About The Role The Senior Development Engineer – Stormwater and Flooding will play a crucial role in assessing development proposals to evaluate their environmental and engineering impacts. This position involves preparing and reviewing engineering plans, providing specialist advice on flooding and water quality, and contributing technical expertise to various project teams. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor junior staff and may occasionally act as a team leader. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil or environmental engineering with extensive experience in stormwater and flooding assessments. Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering.Strong experience in stormwater and flooding assessment.Proficiency in hydraulic and hydrologic software (e.g., Drains, Turflow, ArcMap, HEC-RAS, MUSIC).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Adept problem-solving and analytical skills.
