DevOps / Test Engineer – Job DescriptionBoon Logic, Inc. Hybrid Boon Logic Inc. is looking for a DevOps/Test Engineer to help us build, test, and ship reliable software. You'll write automated test suites, support our GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to system-level testing so our products work end to end. This is a great fit for someone a few years into their career who's ready to take real ownership of our test and CI/CD infrastructure and grow into a more senior role over time — you'll work closely with our team and get direct coaching during onboarding as you build toward running this independently. ResponsibilitiesWrite and maintain automated test suites in Python using pytestBuild Selenium-based UI tests of JavaScript codeOwn the day-to-day of our GitLab CI/CD pipelines, driving improvements as you get up to speedContribute to system-level testing, including integration and end-to-end scenariosWork with development teams to improve testability, coverage, and release qualityTriage test failures, identify root causes, and drive fixesPropose and implement improvements to test reliability, speed, and reporting across the pipeline Required Qualifications2 or more years of experience in DevOps, test automation, or a related engineering roleWorking knowledge of Python, including some experience with pytestSome exposure to JavaScript for writing or maintaining Selenium UI testsFamiliarity with GitLab or similar CI/CD toolingSome hands-on experience with AWS servicesComfortable in Linux environments with basic shell scriptingStrong problem-solving instincts, a willingness to dig into failures, and comfort documenting your own workComfortable using AI tools to speed up your own workflow and improve process Nice to HaveExperience with Docker or other containerization toolsAny exposure to testing embedded or edge systemsFamiliarity with Go and/or C++ What We OfferBase salary: $110,000–$120,000, based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insuranceAdditional insurance options availableEligible for PTO Boon Logic Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
