We’re hiring an AI/ML Platform Software Developer to help build the intelligence layer powering the next generation of the company’s platform. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on production AI systems, agentic workflows, MCP infrastructure, and reusable platform capabilities. About the Company Our client is a private equity-backed software company building a cloud-based practice management platform used by thousands of dental practices across clinical, operational, financial, and patient-facing workflows. The company is expanding its platform with agentic AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation designed to embed AI across the broader product ecosystem. What You’ll Do Design, build, test, and ship production AI services, agentic workflows, MCP servers, machine learning capabilities, and shared platform componentsPartner with Architecture and engineering teams to shape the technical direction of the AI platform and establish reusable development patternsBuild secure, scalable production software across distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native services, and intelligent workflowsOwn AI capabilities from proof of concept through production, including evaluation, monitoring, iteration, reliability, and operational supportConduct technical design and code reviews while mentoring developers through hands-on collaborationEvaluate emerging AI technologies and use modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot What You Bring 8+ years of professional software development experience building scalable SaaS applications3+ years designing and deploying production AI applications, platforms, or intelligent workflow systemsStrong backend engineering experience, ideally with Python or similar technologiesExperience building agentic AI systems, MCP servers or similar integration frameworks, machine learning solutions, and LLM-based applicationsStrong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and modern software development practicesTrack record of writing high-quality production code and owning complex systems in production Bonus Experience LangGraph, Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar production AI platformsRAG, vector databases, semantic search, evaluation, observability, governance, or MLOpsConversational AI, speech technologies, or customer-facing AI applicationsBuilding AI capabilities within large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS or regulated environments Who This Is For A hands-on builder who still wants meaningful influence over technical architecture and directionSomeone comfortable moving between platform design, production code, code reviews, and difficult technical problemsAn engineer who wants to help establish the patterns and infrastructure other teams will use to build AI products at scaleSomeone who wants to build production AI systems rather than focus primarily on research or experimentation How to Apply Apply with your resume.
