UNCOMN is seeking a Software/Cloud Generalist 1-2 (Junior/Associate-Level) to: Assist with the deployment and maintenance of secure cloud infrastructure to support enterprise applications.Support the provisioning and maintenance of cloud resources using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistency and efficiency.Assist with application deployments in cloud environments, including containerized workloads.Monitor system performance and availability, implementing solutions to optimize reliability and scalability.Support the administration and maintenance of Linux-based systems and cloud-hosted databases in production environments.Assist with identity and access management controls using technologies such as SAML, OAuth, and federated authentication.Support and maintain AWS and AWS GovCloud environments in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.Assist with monitoring and optimizing cloud resource utilization to balance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.Collaborate with development and security teams to support application infrastructure and cloud operations.Assist with the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of containerized workloads using Kubernetes and RKE2.Assist with the creation, deployment, and maintenance of Helm charts for Kubernetes-based applications.Use container technologies such as Podman and Docker to build, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications.Document cloud architecture, configurations, and processes to ensure consistency and operational continuity.Stay current with evolving cloud technologies and best practices to support continuous improvement. Requirements Must currently meet DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF)/8140 requirements for Work Role 641 Intermediate or Advanced; a Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, CMIS, or a related field from an accredited college or university satisfies this requirement. Must be comfortable obtaining CompTIA Security+ certification within 30 days of employment. Active Security+ highly preferred. Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner closely with internal and external stakeholders.Must be willing to obtain relevant certifications as required by future client or contract needs. Preferred Qualifications Related AWS experience, including exposure to designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure; proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates); and hands-on familiarity with Linux systems in cloud environments.Active DoD Security clearance or higher.Active CompTIA Security+, CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, or related certifications.Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, CMIS, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
