About the Role
Full-time, hybrid, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Candidates must be local to Bay Area.
As Lead AI/LLM Engineer, this is a hands-on role, you'll build and deploy the AI systems powering our platform, set technical direction, and mentor the team.
Mandatory Skills
Agentic Workflows & System Design :
Moving beyond standalone prompts to orchestrate multi-agent systems, complex tool-calling loops, and adaptive execution paths.
Baseline Programming & Data Architecture :
Fluency in Python (the near-universal language baseline) and data processing tools (Snowflake) to evaluate data quality and pipeline integrity.
Production LLM Applications & Frameworks :
Hands-on experience architecting Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, managing context windows, and utilizing development ecosystems like LangChain, or LangGraph.
Strategic Communication :
Translate hyper-complex technical architectures into clear, value-driven language for non-technical stakeholders.
Team Management :
Worked closely with junior but bright engineers and guided them to 10X ouput.
