Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.Back-end development experience with Go (Golang).Proficiency building server-rendered front ends with htmx and/or templ (or similar hypermedia-driven approaches), plus TypeScript for client-side behavior.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and managing system integrations.Working knowledge of application security fundamentals (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and secure coding practices.Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants or agentic coding tools in professional software development, with sound judgment about where they help, where they do not, and how to verify their output.Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams.Understanding of data security best practices and compliance requirements, especially HIPAA within a healthcare context.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, remote environment.Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.Experience working in an Agile development environment.Preferred Skill/Abilities:
Experience with SQL Server.Experience working within the Healthcare industry.Direct experience with healthcare data standards, particularly FHIR, and building healthcare integrations.
Experience with HL7 is also a plus.Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS (S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).Experience with GitLab is a plus.Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
