Senior .Net Developer (Full time / Remote) Work Arrangement: Full-time remote work with collaboration aligned primarily to Eastern and Central time zone business hours. Our client is expanding a software platform built for the realities of modern manufacturing, connecting business systems, production operations, and machine-generated data to help industrial teams make better decisions. They are seeking a Senior .Net Developer who wants more than a queue of predefined coding assignments. This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of a growing industrial technology product, influence how solutions are designed, and solve complex problems involving manufacturing data, connected equipment, and evolving cloud architecture. Focus: Build and enhance browser-based software that turns production-floor information into practical tools for industrial users.Translate manufacturing workflows and operational data into dependable application features, with particular attention to OEE, cycle time, and data quality.Shape technical approaches rather than simply implement tickets, bringing alternatives, tradeoffs, and recommendations to the team.Develop across the Microsoft stack using C#, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, and supporting .NET libraries.Design data access and application logic with SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework, and related ORM patterns.Create automated unit and integration tests, participate in peer review, and use Git-based workflows to protect software quality.Troubleshoot performance and integration issues involving connected equipment, machine data, web communication, and customer-specific requirements.Contribute to a modular product architecture as the platform continues evolving toward scalable cloud and SaaS delivery. Skill Set: 5+ years of consistent software development experience, including substantial hands-on work with C# and the ASP.NET/.NET ecosystem.Strong JavaScript and Angular experience, with the ability to contribute across front-end and back-end application layers.Practical manufacturing or industrial domain knowledge, including how shop-floor activity and machine information become usable software data.Working knowledge of OEE and cycle time, including the source data and operational context needed to calculate these measures correctly.Proficiency with SQL Server and T-SQL, plus experience using Entity Framework or comparable ORM approaches.Experience building automated unit and integration tests and working effectively with Git-based source control.Awareness of common web security risks and secure software development practices.A self-directed, collaborative approach, with the judgment to navigate ambiguity, propose options, and take ownership of outcomes. Additional experience with industrial IoT, machine connectivity, manufacturing ERP or MES systems, WebSockets, microservices, cloud platforms, or application performance optimization would be valuable.
