Position: Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer Location: McLean, VA (Need Local OR Near By States) Duration: Long Term Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer to design, develop, customize, and support secure and scalable customer, partner, and employee portals using Salesforce Experience Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce development experience, expertise in Experience Cloud, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, integrations, and Salesforce security. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Experience Cloud sites and portals for customers, partners, and internal users.Configure and customize Experience Cloud using Lightning App Builder, Experience Builder, LWC, Aura Components, Apex, and Flow.Develop responsive and user-friendly portal interfaces aligned with business requirements.Implement user authentication, registration, login, SSO, MFA, and identity management.Configure Experience Cloud user profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, roles, and access controls.Develop custom Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex classes, triggers, controllers, and test classes.Integrate Experience Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware.Configure and manage Salesforce data access using Sharing Sets, Sharing Rules, Permission Sets, Profiles, and External User licenses.Build automation using Salesforce Flow, Approval Processes, and other declarative tools.Work with Salesforce objects, relationships, reports, dashboards, and data models supporting Experience Cloud applications.Optimize portal performance, scalability, usability, and accessibility.Troubleshoot application issues, integration failures, security/access problems, and production defects.Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.Follow Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and deployment processes.Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, administrators, and business stakeholders.Required Skills 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong hands-on Experience Cloud expertise.Strong experience with:Salesforce Experience Cloud / Community CloudExperience BuilderLightning Web Components (LWC)Aura ComponentsApexSOQL/SOSLSalesforce FlowsLightning App BuilderExperience developing customer-facing or partner-facing Salesforce portals.Strong understanding of Salesforce security and sharing architecture.Experience with Experience Cloud user management, external users, licenses, profiles, permission sets, and sharing sets.Strong knowledge of Salesforce data modeling and CRM functionality.Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Salesforce integrations.Experience with SSO, OAuth, SAML, and Salesforce Identity is preferred.Strong knowledge of Salesforce deployment tools such as Salesforce CLI, Git, DevOps Center, or CI/CD pipelines.Experience writing Apex test classes and maintaining high code coverage.Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification.Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification.Salesforce Administrator certification.Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, or Sales Cloud.Experience implementing accessible and responsive portal applications.Knowledge of Salesforce DX and modern DevOps practices.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
