Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer

Job Description Team & Reporting Line: IT Team, reporting to the IT Director Our Mission At constellr, we use thermal intelligence from space to understand what is happening on Earth - where, when and at scale. Our satellite constellation delivers high-resolution land surface temperature data, giving governments, defence organisations, commercial operators and global institutions the intelligence they need to monitor change, assess risk and make better-informed decisions. From national security and critical infrastructure to agriculture and climate resilience, constellr turns temperature into actionable intelligence for a changing world. Your Role You'll design and maintain the infrastructure backbone that keeps constellr's operations reliable and scalable, from our office networks to the server room that supports our satellite data. This is a hands-on role with a high degree of ownership, right at the core of our technical operations. Key responsibilities Design, deploy and maintain our network and server infrastructureTake ownership of capacity planning across our compute, storage and network resourcesLead our response to infrastructure incidents, identifying root causes and resolving themMaintain clear documentation and standard operating procedures for our infrastructureEvaluate and implement new infrastructure technologies as the company scales Job requirements About you Required: Strong hands-on experience in network and systems infrastructure engineeringExperience with server room or data center operationsSolid troubleshooting skills and experience responding to incidentsFluency in English Nice to Have: German language skillsExperience in a scientific, aerospace or data-intensive environmentExperience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or GCPRelevant certifications, such as CCNA or CompTIA Why join constellr?
