Full Stack Engineer

Job Type –Contract to HireLocation – Hybrid in Dallas, TX, Miramar, FL, Minneapolis, MN, or Atlanta, GARequirements - GC holder or USC required Overview We are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer to join our client company’s Trade Engineering team to increase direct delivery capacity for the LPM / Program Experiences team. This role will take ownership of backend delivery for prioritized internal planning applications that support supplier and company collaborative planning. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building AWS applications and modern web experiences. The ideal candidate is strongly experienced in Rust and TypeScript/JavaScript, has experience with agentic development workflows, and enjoys solving complex technical problems in an enterprise environment. Responsibilities Own backend development and delivery for prioritized Program Experiences initiatives.Build and enhance internal web applications supporting critical supplier and company planning workflows.Develop AWS-based applications using Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, Lambda, S3, and related cloud services.Build modern user experiences using React and/or Svelte.Design and optimize data solutions using SQL databases, PostgreSQL, analytical databases, Parquet, and DuckDB or similar technologies.Apply strong engineering practices across development, testing, deployment, and production support.Leverage observability tools and practices to monitor and improve application performance and reliability.Use agentic workflows and AI-assisted development tools as part of day-to-day engineering work.Collaborate with product and engineering partners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Contribute to technical direction, architecture, and engineering best practices across the team.Requirements 4+ years of senior-level software engineering experience building production applications in an enterprise environment.Strong Rust experience is required and should be a significant part of your recent technical experience.Strong TypeScript/JavaScript experience is required. Candidates whose experience is primarily Java, Spring Boot, or other unrelated technology stacks will not be considered.Experience building applications on AWS, including services such as Lambda and S3.Experience with React, Svelte, or similar modern web frameworks.Experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL-based databases.Experience using agentic workflows or AI-assisted development tools as part of day-to-day engineering work.Experience with the following technologies is preferred; experience with similar tools and technologies is also acceptable:Parquet or similar columnar data formats.DuckDB or similar analytical database technologies.Dynatrace or similar observability and application performance monitoring platforms.Harness Pipeline or similar continuous delivery (CD) tools.Strong problem-solving, system design, and software engineering fundamentals.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Ability to work effectively in an enterprise environment and take ownership of business-critical internal applications.
