Responsibilities Grow Your Skills, Grow Your Potential Our software engineering team builds and modernizes technology that supports the injury claim evaluation experience. We develop and support capabilities that help claim professionals efficiently access information, navigate workflows, and manage activities throughout the injury claim process. Our engineers work across a diverse technology landscape, developing modern user experiences, APIs and integrations, data capabilities, and cloud-based solutions. Our team is at the forefront of exploring, implementing, and supporting automation. We leverage emerging technologies, including generative AI, to make information more accessible and streamline complex workflows. This is an exciting time to join the team as we continue to evolve and modernize our technology landscape. Engineers will have opportunities to contribute to new capabilities, explore emerging technologies, and help shape technical solutions as we transform the injury claim experience. The work spans existing platforms and next-generation capabilities, providing opportunities to solve meaningful problems across the full technology stack while applying modern software engineering and DevOps practices. Qualifications Modern full-stack engineering Strong Java/Spring and Angular/TypeScript fundamentals, with the ability to work across APIs, user interfaces, data access, and enterprise integrations. Cloud-native delivery and operations Experience with AWS, OpenShift/Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, security controls, production support, and observability using tools such as Dynatrace. Quality engineering and automation Ability to design and maintain reliable automated testing using tools such as JUnit, Playwright, and Jest, emphasizing regression prevention, maintainability, and dependable CI/CD pipelines. Data, integration, and workflow design Comfort working with SQL/PostgreSQL, REST APIs, document processing, and complex business rules across interconnected systems. Emerging AI and developer-productivity practices Curiosity about how GenAI, coding assistants, retrieval, structured prompting, evaluation, and lightweight agent workflows could improve engineering efficiency, testing, documentation, or user experiences. End-to-end AI ownership is not required; the focus is identifying practical, well-governed opportunities and validating them incrementally.
