AI Platform Engineer

We are building an enterprise-grade AI platform to enable secure, scalable and production-ready use of Generative AI and ML across the Customs Declaration Service. The AI Platform Engineer will translate architectural designs into working systems, implementing AI services that integrate cleanly into enterprise applications, workflows and SDLC processes. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on productionisation. This role focuses on cloud-native architecture, reusable service patterns and platform automation rather than individual use case delivery. Design and implement reusable AI service scaffolding, including API wrappers, orchestration templates and IAM integrationBuild and maintain cloud-native infrastructure in AWS and/or AzureImplement secure networking, environment isolation and deployment pipelinesDevelop reusable integration components for RAG, orchestration and agent patternsEnforce platform standards for logging, telemetry and cost trackingSupport use case squads in consuming platform services correctly
