Job Description Key Purpose: To own end-to-end test automation strategy, execution, and quality assurance for our web applications while collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery. Key Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) Must have all of these to be considered. Proven SDET Experience: 3+ years as a SDET with a strong technical foundation in software development.QA Expertise: Deep understanding of QA principles, test strategy, defect management, and quality metrics.Playwright Framework: 2+ years building and maintaining automated test suites with Playwright + TypeScript.API Testing: Experience creating and maintaining Postman Collections for end-to-end API validation.SCRUM Methodology: Active participant in sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Must own test-related deliverables within sprints (e.g., test cases, automation scripts, bug reports).Ownership Mindset: Demonstrated ability to take full responsibility for test automation strategy, quality outcomes, and cross-functional collaboration (e.g., owning test coverage for critical paths, resolving blockers with developers). Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-have) Experience with Cypress (currently migrating the framework from Cypress to Playwright).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). What You’ll Do Design and implement scalable test automation (Playwright) for web applications.Validate API functionality using Postman Collections.Collaborate with developers to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.Own the quality of releases by identifying and resolving critical defects before deployment.Lead sprint-level QA activities (test planning, execution, reporting). Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including professional experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions. The current target salary range for this role is $61,000 – $70,000 per year.
