Software Developer 3 – Identity and Access Management (IAM) Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – On-site and Telework) Contract Duration: 10/01/2026 – 08/31/2027 (extension possible by written agreement) Note: This is a W2 role only. Position Overview We are seeking a Software Developer 3 to manage the enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem for a Texas state agency. The role designs and implements a centralized identity provider framework, supports Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Access Management, and Privileged Access Management, and works closely with security and IT teams to maintain consistent IAM practices across platforms. Responsibilities Design and implement a centralized identity provider framework using SAML 2.0 and OIDC for Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)Develop identity lifecycle workflows and automate user provisioning and reportingOnboard and integrate business applications with IAM systems using REST APIsEstablish and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) modelsSupport IGA, Access Management, and Privileged Access Services, and integrate IAM solutions across platformsDeploy a privileged access management solution with secure credential vaulting, automated password rotation, and just-in-time provisioningProvide long-term system maintenance, including performance tuning and troubleshooting of provisioning errors and connection failuresProvide support for Directory services, IAM services, servers, and databasesRegularly assess IAM technologies and maintain technical documentationCollaborate with security and IT teams to maintain consistent IAM practices Required Skills and Experience 8+ years: IAM platform governance, engineering, lifecycle automation, and scripting8+ years: Application onboarding and integrating business applications with IAM systems5+ years: Designing and implementing RBAC models, enforcing separation of duties, and designing certification campaigns5+ years: Managing a centralized identity provider and configuring SSO and MFA3+ years: SailPoint Identity Security Cloud3+ years: Implementing user access reviews with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud3+ years: Integrating applications with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud3+ years: Using Privileged Access Management (PAM)3+ years: Automating user provisioning and reporting using PowerShell and Python Preferred Skills 2+ years: Experience working with a state government agency Contract Details Estimated hours not to exceed 2,080 hours per candidateStandard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, excluding State holidaysMay require work outside normal business hours (weekends, evenings, holidays) as requestedOvertime beyond 40 hours/week must be pre-approved and coordinatedTravel, per diem, parking, and living expenses are the Worker's responsibilityPre-selection may require satisfying criminal background check requirements per Texas law PriceSenz is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
