About the Opportunity:
The INFORMATION SYSTEMS ENGINEER, BUSINESS SYSTEMS role focuses on designing, building, and managing integrations and automations across enterprise business systems such as CRM, procurement, finance, supply chain, and logistics.
This position is critical for enabling scalable, efficient system operations by translating business needs into robust technical solutions and collaborating with various functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Design integrations across enterprise business systems using MuleSoft or other iPaaS platforms.Develop Python-based tools for integration support, automation, and process optimization.Write and optimize SQL scripts for data handling and analytics.Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure secure, scalable integrations.Create and execute tests for components and data flows.Monitor and improve launched integrations using metrics and logs.Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and DevOps practices.Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical applications and integrations.
Requirements:
Over 8 years of experience architecting and scaling enterprise APIs and integrations.At least 4 years of hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms, preferably MuleSoft.Minimum 3 years of recent programming experience in Python, Kotlin, Java, or Go.Experience with AI/ML-based automation tools and LLM-based productivity enhancements.Expertise integrating with enterprise systems like Salesforce, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Workday, or SAP.Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with data pipeline tools such as Airflow or Databricks.Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and related services.Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.Excellent communication skills to translate requirements into technical designs.Proven delivery of complex integrations in procurement, finance, or supply chain.Experience managing production applications with KTLO support and root cause analysis.
Nice to Have:
Certifications in MuleSoft or AWS.Experience with MCP servers using Python or Typescript for agentic workflows.
