Enterprise Architect – Cloud & Infrastructure
Houston, TX | Hybrid | 12 Month Contract | $85–$88/hour
ElevationHR is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect – Cloud & Infrastructure to support a major Houston based organization within a large scale enterprise technology environment.
This role is focused on enterprise architecture across Cloud & Infrastructure, supporting the design and integration of enterprise wide information systems.
Candidates must bring experience with both Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with a strong foundation in technical architecture, technology delivery, and technical leadership.
The Opportunity
You will help establish system information requirements and support architecture across software, hardware, communications, platforms, integrations, and external interfaces.
The role combines hands on technical experience with architecture planning, technical recommendations, and leadership across a complex enterprise environment.
What You'll Do
Design architecture spanning software, hardware, and communications to support current and future system requirementsSupport cross functional requirements, interfaces, platform implementation, and systems integrationEnsure systems align with applicable IT architecture standards and the common operating environmentEvaluate workflow, organizational, and planning challenges and develop appropriate corrective actionsAnalyze technical alternatives and present options to technical leads and clientsDrive technical planning and solutions for a small software portfolioAuthor or manage the development of software designs and technical recommendationsManage vendor evaluations and provide technical justification for recommendationsProvide technical leadership, mentoring, supervision, and direction to staff
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
2–4 years of relevant experienceExperience with Microsoft AzureExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical fieldBroad technology delivery experience, including custom development using various development languagesExperience providing technical leadership and mentoring in software engineering design, development, and frameworksExperience evaluating technical alternatives, developing recommendations, and supporting technical planning and software design
Preferred Qualifications
Amazon Web Services (AWS) experienceAura experienceTOGAF knowledge or certificationMBA or other related advanced degree
Contract Details
