Role Description The Full Stack Engineer role at ATW Cargo is a full-time, on-site position based in Doral, FL. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that support logistics, shipping, and warehousing operations, including front-end user interfaces and back-end services. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement new features, and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, integrating APIs and third-party services, troubleshooting issues, and participating in code reviews and documentation. The role also includes working closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure technology solutions align with business needs and industry standards. Qualifications Strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience building and maintaining production web applications.Proficiency in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, user-friendly interfaces.Experience with Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks, databases, and API design and integration.Knowledge of software engineering best practices such as version control, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work on-site in Doral, FL, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience in logistics, supply chain, or aviation-related systems is a plus, along with familiarity with cloud platforms and security best practices. Backend development: Python with Django, Django REST Framework, or FastAPI.Frontend development: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Databases: PostgreSQL and SQL, including data modeling, migrations, indexing, and query optimization.System integrations: REST APIs, JSON, XML/SOAP, webhooks, and OAuth 2.0.Version control: Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and code review.Deployment and infrastructure: Docker, Linux, and AWS or Microsoft Azure.CI/CD: GitHub Actions or comparable tools for automated testing and deployment.Testing: pytest or equivalent backend testing tools, and Playwright or Cypress for end-to-end testing.Application security: Authentication, role-based access, secure credential management, and audit logging
