Lead Mechanical Design Engineer I’m working with an innovative technology company developing ruggedised hardware for demanding real-world environments, and they’re looking for a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. You’ll Be Responsible For Leading mechanical design from concept through to manufactureDeveloping robust products for challenging environmentsImproving product reliability and environmental performanceWorking across materials, thermal management and sealingLeading prototyping, testing and product validationChampioning DfM and DfAProviding technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams We’re Looking For Someone With Experience developing complex hardware products in aerospace, defence or similar industriesStrong 3D CAD skills — SolidWorks, Siemens NX or similarA proven track record taking products from concept through to manufactureHands-on prototyping and testing experienceThe ability to lead technical projects and work across multidisciplinary teams If you’re a Senior or Lead Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in aerospace, defence or another highly demanding engineering environment, I’d be keen to hear from you.
