About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team remotely from the USA, with a preference for candidates based near Nashville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable PHP applications, primarily utilizing Symfony framework, to support our healthcare workforce solutions. You will collaborate closely with product development teams to deliver high-quality features, resolve complex UX challenges, and ensure seamless integration across platforms. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to healthcare technology innovation, making a tangible impact on the industry by enhancing the tools and applications used by healthcare professionals nationwide. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in PHP development, with a strong emphasis on Symfony framework.Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional product development teams to solve complex UX and technical challenges.Experience in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field is preferred.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, RESTful API development, and database management.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with version control systems such as Git, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain PHP-based applications utilizing the Symfony framework to meet project specifications and business needs.Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other developers to create intuitive, high-performance healthcare solutions.Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and application stability.Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance optimization.Contribute to technical documentation and assist in the continuous improvement of development processes.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications in a cloud or on-premise environment.
