Senior Program Engineer - Systems Security

Position Summary Credence has an immediate need for a Senior Program Engineer-Systems Security supporting the Armament Directorate Division, (AFLCMC/EB) at Eglin AFB, Florida. You'll be the guardian of the Air Force's most advanced systems, locking down classified tech, shaping cybersecurity defenses, and keeping mission‑critical programs safe from threats. This role focuses on systems security engineering to include design and application of supply chain risk management, information assurance, anti-tamper, and platform information assurance. This job is onsite at Eglin AFB, FL. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the duties listed below: Identify and assess Critical Program Information (CPI) and determine when AT protections are requiredDevelop AT specifications and procedures that prevent or delay exploitation of critical technologiesSupport and maintain AT sections of the Program Protection PlanCoordinate with external stakeholders (e.g., SAF/IA, AT Evaluation Team, Weapons AO, OSI/PJ, 48 CTS) to enable compliant testing and fieldingApply IA engineering to air‑to‑air and air‑to‑ground weapon systems in accordance with DoDI 5200.44 and DoDI 8500.01EIdentify missions‑critical functions and critical components and implement risk‑management practices early in system designDevelop IA specifications and support audits, assessments, and integration of secure componentsImplement SCRM per DoDI 4140.01, including identifying and mitigating internal and external supply‑chain risksPrevent introduction of counterfeit materials and apply life‑cycle controls to protect system integritySupport development of SCRM strategies for quality, supplier reliability, natural disasters, demand shifts, and global disruptionsSupport PIT and PIT‑IA engineering for mission‑critical embedded systemsApply AFLCMC's PIT Security Control Assessor (SCA) processesEnsure secure interconnections with NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS, including configuration and cross‑domain considerationsSupport design and implementation of encryption solutions for weapon‑system securityProvide RMF‑aligned engineering support for assessment, authorization, and continuous‑monitoring activities Requirements A minimum of a Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility is requiredBachelor of Science degree in a related discipline from an ABET accredited college or university and twenty (20) years of relevant experienceOr a master's degree in a related discipline and at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
