Design and develop database schemas, tables, stored procedures, functions, and other database objects for Oracle, Cassandra, and Spark environments.Develop logical and physical data models that meet business requirements and ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance.Design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data between different database platforms and data sources, using tools like Apache Spark, Apache NiFi, or Oracle Data Integrator.Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, tuning queries, and implementing indexing strategies.Write complex SQL queries and NoSQL queries (CQL) to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data.Develop Spark applications using Python to process large datasets and perform data analytics.Design and implement data warehousing solutions using Oracle, Cassandra, and Spark, following best practices for data modeling, ETL, and reporting.Implement data security measures to protect sensitive data, including encryption, access control, and auditing.Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, application developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop appropriate data solutions.Create and maintain technical documentation for database designs, ETL processes, and other data-related solutions.Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in database development, data warehousing, and big data processing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience in database development, with a strong focus on Oracle, Cassandra, and Spark.Expert-level knowledge of Oracle database architecture and development, including SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.Strong understanding of Cassandra NoSQL database, including data modeling, CQL, and cluster administration.Proficiency in Apache Spark, including Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and Spark MLlib.Experience with ETL tools and techniques.Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certification is a plus.Experience with cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud Spanner) is a plus.
