About the Opportunity:
The SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER (SRE) - FEDRAMP role is integral to maintaining and enhancing the operational stability of the organization's cloud platform.
This position focuses on supporting a compliant federal cloud environment through configuration management, troubleshooting, automation development, and documentation.
The role contributes by ensuring system reliability and responsiveness to customer incidents, directly impacting the security and availability of the cloud services.
Responsibilities:
Test features in the cloud platform.Develop and update documentation for configuration and infrastructure.Execute changes on customer cloud environments.Lead incident troubleshooting and resolution.Develop and maintain automation tools.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of Linux experience.At least 2 years scripting experience in Python, Golang, or Bash.Minimum 3 years working with distributed systems.At least 1 year experience in incident management.Eligibility to work on US Government classified environments as a U.S.
Person.Ability to work night shifts (Wednesday to Saturday, midnight to 10am EST) including weekends and on-call.
Preferred:
Willingness to obtain specific cloud and platform certifications within two years.Experience with Puppet, Jenkins, AWS (preferred), GCP, Powershell, and Microsoft Azure.AWS Solutions Architect certificate or equivalent experience.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Starting salary range is $128,600.00 to $184,900.00 for U.S.
and Canada locations, excluding incentive compensation, equity, or benefits.Individual pay is based on location, skills, experience, qualifications, and training.
