Description
Pay Range: CAD 65-70/hr
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and related technologies.Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Build responsive and reusable front-end components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.Integrate Angular applications with backend services and third-party APIs.Design and optimize relational database solutions using SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.Implement business logic, data validation, exception handling, logging, and application security.Develop and maintain microservices-based applications and support service-to-service communication.Write unit, integration, and functional tests using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, and Karma.Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.Work with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools to automate build and deployment processes.Deploy and support applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and other development teams.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and development standards.Required Skills
7+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17/21 and Spring Boot.Strong experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.Proficiency in Angular 12+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Spring Security.Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum.Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OpenID Connect.Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Skills
Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.aExperience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.Familiarity with Redis, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.Experience with GraphQL is a plus.Knowledge of application monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.Exposure to Generative AI/LLM integration or AI-enabled application development is a plus.
