Location: Calgary – onsite 3+ days/week Term: 6 months, extension likel Our client is seeking an Intermediate .NET Software Developer to support an internal web application used by its Transportation team for areas including rail logistics, fleet management and invoice reconciliation. This is a hands-on development role focused on building and enhancing existing applications, dashboards, reports, pages and prototypes. The developer will work closely with the Tech Lead and business users, iterating quickly based on feedback. This is primarily an execution/development role rather than architecture or solution design. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance web applications using C#, ASP.NET Blazor and Entity FrameworkBuild and optimize SQL Server solutionsDevelop front-end functionality using Blazor, HTML and CSSIntegrate and deploy applications using Microsoft AzureUse Azure DevOps/Git for source control and sprint planningBuild dashboards, reports, pages and prototypes within existing systemsParticipate in code reviews, testing and documentationWork directly with business users to quickly incorporate feedbackRequired Skills Strong hands-on .NET/C# web development experienceExperience with ASP.NET Blazor, Entity Framework and SQL Server, or closely transferable technologiesFront-end development experience with HTML/CSS and strong UI/design senseMicrosoft Azure experienceAzure DevOps/Git experienceStrong object-oriented programming and development fundamentalsAbility to work collaboratively and deliver quickly in an iterative environmentMust be able to work onsite in Calgary 3+ days/weekNice to Have Transportation or logistics application experienceDashboard/reporting development experienceMicrosoft Fabric/data engineering exposureOWASP/.NET security knowledgeComputer Science or related degree
