Role : Python Developer – AI/LLM Location : Toronto, ON Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for a Python Developer – AI/LLM with strong experience building production applications using Python and Node.js/TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, cloud platforms, and modern developer tooling. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain production applications using Python and Node.js/TypeScript.Build and integrate AI agents using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Claude SDK.Work with LLMs and prompt engineering to develop AI-powered solutions.Develop MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and REST APIs.Design, deploy, and maintain the Backstage.io developer portal.Work with MongoDB and Redis in production environments.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git and DevOps tools.Deploy and support applications on AWS, Azure, or OpenShift.Use AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day engineering activities.Required Skills 5+ years of Python development experience.Strong Node.js/TypeScript experience.2+ years of experience with cloud platforms.2+ years of experience building or integrating AI agents.Strong knowledge of LLMs and Prompt Engineering.Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Claude SDK.Experience with MCP server development.Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Redis.Strong knowledge of REST APIs and OpenAPI specifications.Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.Nice to Have Infrastructure as Code and DevOps experience.AWS, GCP, or Azure experience.GraphQL, message queues, or event-driven architecture.Experience mentoring junior developers.Experience working with emerging AI technologies.
