Description

Our mission: We are developing a new venture in the space of distributed energy infrastructure and flexibility solutions for industrial customers to address rising energy costs, complexity and growing requirements for resilience. Following a successful validation phase, the venture is now preparing to enter a 12-month MVP phase, with the goal of establishing a scalable operating model and a repeatable commercial engine for future growth. What you’ll do: You will lead the projects transition from validated concept to operational execution, with the potential to assume a senior leadership role post-execution. Leveraging the backing of Jungheinrich, you will shape the commercial engine, operating model, and partner ecosystem required to win, develop, and deliver B2B energy infrastructure projects at scale. Lead a cross-functional team of internal experts, setting priorities, monitoring results and ensuring effective collaboration across all workstreams.Build and scale the commercial engine, from B2B customer acquisition and project origination to a repeatable go-to-market model.Lead project development and deployment activities, incl. technical feasibility assessments and grid connection applications.Develop and secure financing structures required to fund and scale the business model, building relationships with financing partners and ensuring bankability.Structure and negotiate customer, partner, and supplier agreements, creating scalable commercial frameworks.Drive the launch and implementation of the new business, securing corporate buy-in and resources, managing senior stakeholders across BUs, functions, and partners and translate venture success into corporate impact, ensuring the new business is primed to become a lasting part of Jungheinrich’s portfolio.Operate with consulting-grade problem solving and execution excellence.Leverage AI and modern tooling to increase speed and decision quality. Location: Hamburg, Berlin, Munich This role is for you if: You bring a proven track record in developing, managing, and delivering energy infrastructure projects, ideally including battery energy storage systems. Have a strong understanding of European energy markets, regulatory framework, and key industry stakeholders.Bring experience with grid connection and regulatory permitting processes.Have a solid understanding of asset and project finance structures, including bankability requirements. Have experience negotiating and managing customer, partner, and supplier agreements.Excel at stakeholder management at senior level with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear decisions.Combine analytical rigor with hands‑on delivery and reliability.Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building, scaling, and operationalizing new business models. Bonus: Spanish language skills.Strong AI/tooling fluency.Relevant network in the European energy field.
