Software Engineer

ForgeScale is looking for a Software Engineer who wants to build. ForgeScale is a small software company focused on turning ideas into real products. We research problems, test ideas quickly, build software, launch it, learn from users, and keep moving. We have already launched multiple products and we have several more products and experiments in development. I’m looking for someone technical who wants to be part of that process. This is not a role where I give you a perfectly defined Jira ticket and you simply implement it. I’m looking for someone who can take an idea or problem and run with it. Someone who can: Build full-stack products and prototypesUse AI tools like Claude Code and Codex effectivelyActually understand and review the code AI generatesResearch technologies, competitors, markets, APIs, and possible solutionsFind answers independently when something is unclearSuggest better approaches instead of blindly following instructionsPrototype quickly, test assumptions, and iterateSpot problems and opportunities without waiting to be toldThink creatively when the obvious solution does not workYou don’t need to know every technology we use. You do need strong software fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly. More importantly, I’m looking for a certain mindset: curious, sharp, independent, technical, resourceful, and genuinely interested in building things. If your natural reaction to an interesting idea is “I want to see if I can build that”, you’ll probably fit in well here.
