What You’ll Do Lead and contribute to the development of scalable, distributed applications and microservices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and engineers, to deliver impactful software solutions.Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and engineering best practices, while sharing knowledge with peers and mentoring team members.Design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.Drive technical excellence by establishing development standards, reviewing designs, and promoting operational best practices.Define service architectures, integration patterns, and reusable components to improve engineering efficiency.Identify opportunities to optimize existing systems through refactoring, performance improvements, and reduction of technical debt.Contribute to long-term technology strategy by evaluating new tools, frameworks, and engineering approaches.Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience.Minimum 2 years of experience working with cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, or cloud-based development environments.Strong understanding of software design principles, application architecture, and modern development practices.Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.Extensive experience developing applications using multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, C#, Scala, Rust, or similar technologies.Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including database design and management.Advanced knowledge of cloud services and cloud-native application development.Experience building and maintaining modern web applications using front-end frameworks.Strong expertise in creating RESTful, event-driven, synchronous, and asynchronous APIs.Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and automated testing strategies.Proficiency with Git-based version control systems and collaborative development workflows.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within distributed and cloud environments.Experience using AI-powered development tools to enhance software engineering productivity.Proven ability to mentor engineers and support technical growth within teams.Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and performance optimization practices for distributed systems.Experience leading technical initiatives, driving cross-functional collaboration, and influencing engineering best practices.Ability to establish and promote coding standards, architectural guidelines, and reusable design patterns across teams.
