Senior DevOps Engineer Location : Canada- 100% Remote Duration: 6-12 months Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to support and lead enterprise-scale AWS Cloud Migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and Windows server administration. This role requires close collaboration with architects, application teams, security teams, and project stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize cloud-native and migration solutions. Key Responsibilities AWS Cloud Migration & Infrastructure Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS environments.Support migration of applications and infrastructure from on-premises environments to AWS.Implement and maintain AWS networking components including:VPCsSubnetsRoute TablesSecurity GroupsNetwork ACLsTransit GatewayVPN and Direct ConnectConfigure and support AWS services such as:EC2S3ALB (Application Load Balancer)IAMCloudWatchRoute 53Systems Manager (SSM)Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.Create reusable modules and follow Infrastructure as Code best practices.Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of AWS resources.CI/CD & DevOps Automation Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using:GitHubGitHub ActionsHarnessVaultAutomate build, deployment, testing, and release processes.Implement deployment strategies such as Blue/Green and Canary deployments.Improve software delivery speed and reliability through DevOps best practices.Windows Server Administration Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.Manage:Active Directory integrationIIS Web ServersWindows servicesPatch managementSystem monitoringSupport application migrations involving Windows-based workloads.Monitoring, Security & Operations Configure monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch and enterprise tools.Implement security best practices and compliance requirements.Support incident response and root cause analysis.Participate in on-call support and production issue resolution when required.ITSM & Service Management Utilize ServiceNow for:Incident ManagementChange ManagementProblem ManagementRequest FulfillmentEnsure operational processes follow organizational standards and governance requirements.
