Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain REST and gRPC APIs in Go or Python that serve production traffic at scaleOwn data modeling and query performance for PostgreSQL and Redis, including schema design, indexing strategy, and migration workflowsBuild event-driven systems using Kafka or AWS SQS/SNS for asynchronous processing and service-to-service communicationInstrument services with metrics, structured logging, and distributed tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) to maintain reliability SLOsDeploy and operate services on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes, participating in on-call rotation and incident responseWrite comprehensive unit and integration tests, drive code reviews, and raise the engineering bar across the teamCollaborate with frontend and mobile engineers on API contracts, ensuring clean, versioned, well-documented interfaces
What We Are Looking For
