Role : Principal Azure Databricks Architect Location : Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Must Have Skills ADLSDatabricksJava, Scala based Rest APIKafka-MQ Good to Have Python based API, Python scripting, experience leading small teams Job Description/ Responsibilities: Design and setting up enterprise data lakeStrong on Azure DB, ADLSSQL knowledge is a mustStrong Expertise in Azure(ADF/ADLS), Databricks, Python, Pyspark, SQL, CI-CD (Jenkins, Github), Obs (Dynatrace)Expertise on Lakehouse/DB finopsWorking experience with relational and/or NoSQL DB's is a mustProgramming experience (preferably Java/Pyspark/Python) is a mustExperience with 1 or more BI Tools (Cognos/Power BI/ Sigma/ Strategy) is a plusAble to write the complex code and fix the issuesShould have strong problem solving capabilityCollaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions independently Nice to have : Exposure to PowerBI dashboard development, AI experience - building agents and skills, understanding of MCP is a plus, Dynatrace Functional experience of Retail Banking, capital markets, securities processing will be advantage.
