Role Overview
We are seeking a highly hands-on Azure Platform Engineer with strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud automation, and platform engineering.
The engineer will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly automated Azure environments and supporting development teams with reliable cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain enterprise Azure cloud platforms and infrastructure.
* Develop and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
* Build reusable Terraform modules and automate infrastructure provisioning.
* Implement and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
* Work with Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards and related Azure DevOps services.
* Develop CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions where required.
* Manage source control and branching strategies using GitHub, Git and Azure DevOps.
* Implement cloud automation using PowerShell and Python.
* Deploy and manage Azure resources using Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep and Terraform.
* Implement Azure networking, identity, security, monitoring, and governance capabilities.
* Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized workloads.
* Implement cloud security and enterprise governance using Azure-native services.
* Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application platform issues.
* Collaborate with application, security, architecture, and engineering teams.
* Establish platform engineering standards, reusable patterns, and automation frameworks.
* Participate in production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.
