The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Capability Requirements Capable of technically executing design and development projects, ensure compliance with gas turbine and aerospace industry standards, collaborate with cross-functional teams in requirements capture and execution, stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, designs and manufacturing methods. Seasoned problem solver, conduct analyses and contribute to innovating in gas turbine New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes. Demonstratable experience in Design and development of Structural and or rotating part designDevelopment of rig, test enabling hardware, or tooling design, analysis and integrationMaterial selection3D part modelling and draftingInterface control definition and documentationStack up and layout creation, clash checks, and tolerancesIn depth knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing methods, and process selectionDesign for manufacture and assemblyBe able ti interpret stress and strength reports and analysis resultsPreparation and review of design definition reportsWork with vendors during the manufacturing and delivery phases, including non-conformance management Be a confident and clear communicator who is able to collaborate closely with cross functional teams and project management, aligning project objectives and progress. Solve day to day problems in design processes. Confidently and concisely present work done at customer review board meetings. Education Requirements Degree or equivalent experience gained in an engineering discipline (aerospace, aeronautical, mechanical) advantageous. Computer/Software Tools Unigraphics NXPLM TeamcenterCompetent with PC-based Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
