Senior Software Test Automation Engineer

Razor is seeking an experienced Software Test Automation Engineer (Senior) to lead software test automation activities supporting enterprise applications. This role will work closely with test engineers, DevOps teams, business analysts, developers, and client stakeholders to understand application functionality, establish test automation strategy, and ensure successful software releases. The Software Test Automation Engineer will lead a team of test automation engineers, manage the automation framework, develop testing estimates and schedules, and oversee manual, automated, performance, and accessibility testing activities. Clearance & Suitability Requirements Must successfully complete NSF Suitability / Public Trust investigation prior to onboarding. Location & Work Arrangement Preferred location is the National Capital Region (DC, Maryland, Virginia). Candidates outside the Client must be willing to relocate to the Client if required. Remote, hybrid, or onsite requirements have not been specified. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of test automation engineers and establish the overall test automation strategy. Manage and maintain test automation frameworks. Review software design and requirements documentation to understand application functionality and testing requirements. Develop and oversee level-of-effort estimates, testing schedules, test plans, test cases, peer reviews, and test summary reports. Perform manual functional, regression, usability, integration, remote access, and accessibility testing. Develop automated test scripts using Selenium or similar automation tools. Develop and execute performance testing scripts using JMeter or similar tools. Develop automation scripts from scratch using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python. Use AI throughout the testing lifecycle to assist with test plans, test cases, automation, and test reports. Perform web services testing and develop scripts using web services testing tools. Serve as an SME for SQL, database, and back-end testing. Test key application functionality, establish and verify test data, and document test results. Develop and execute functional and regression testing within an Agile environment. Maintain requirements traceability and manage software defects. Perform Section 508 accessibility testing using applicable accessibility testing tools. Work directly with clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and communicate release testing defects and results. Required Qualifications Senior-level experience in software testing and test automation. Experience developing automation frameworks from scratch. Experience developing automation scripts using Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages. Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium. Experience developing performance testing scripts using JMeter or similar tools. Experience with manual functional, regression, usability, integration, remote access, and accessibility testing. Experience with web services testing and associated testing tools. Strong experience with SQL, databases, and back-end testing. Experience developing testing estimates, schedules, test plans, test cases, and test summary reports. Experience testing within an Agile development environment. Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr Scale for test development, execution, requirements traceability, and defect management. Experience with Section 508 testing using tools such as JAWS, SortSite, Dragon, WAVE, or Lighthouse. Experience supporting clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with technical teams and client stakeholders.
