The role
Define project scopes and manage scope changes in line with project change management processes.
Prepare and review engineering documentation, including datasheets, scopes of work, work instructions, design inputs, drawings, specifications, calculations and reports.
Participate in meetings, prepare progress reports and follow quality procedures, including technical deliverable checks.
Provide engineering support through procurement, construction and commissioning, including requisitions and technical bid evaluations.
Estimate, monitor and control engineering hours against approved budgets.
Apply appropriate risk and HSE considerations across all design activities.
Provide technical guidance, supervision and peer review support to discipline and project teams.
Build strong working relationships with Worley, clients and stakeholders, resolving requirement discrepancies proactively.
Identify issues, develop practical solutions and seek support when required.
Maintain current knowledge of discipline developments and technical innovations.
Candidate Criteria
A recognised engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent with eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia.
Substantial technical and practical Brownfields experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
Mining/Minerals industry experience.
Extensive experience in managing diverse teams across multiple locations to deliver project outcomes, including a keen interest in managing and coaching individuals to develop a high performing team.
Strong experience in client, inter-discipline and construction interface management.
Field experience, especially with Brownfield installations, highly desirable.
