Description
We are looking for an experienced OpenShift Engineer to support the engineering, administration, automation, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing Red Hat OpenShift clusters, Kubernetes/container platforms, OpenShift Data Foundation, and application migrations to containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance multiple Red Hat OpenShift clusters
• Support engineering and automation initiatives across enterprise PaaS environments
• Assist application and project teams with migrating workloads to OpenShift
• Support application containerization, modernization, migration, and refactoring
• Manage and support OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) and Ceph-based storage environments
• Work with OpenShift Platform Plus, Advanced Cluster Management (ACM), and Advanced Cluster Security (ACS)
• Support deployment and operation of containerized applications and microservices
• Develop and maintain automated deployment and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot platform, application, storage, networking, and deployment-related issues
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and networking teams
• Document platform standards, procedures, and best practices
• Share technical knowledge and provide training/support to other team members
