Senior Java Developers - CI/CD + TDD Salary - £100,000 – £130,000 + benefits Hybrid- London 3 days per week in the office (Mandatory) We’re looking for Senior Java Developers to join a high-performing engineering team working on a major financial services project in London. This is a hands-on engineering role for developers who care about clean, maintainable code, automated testing and continuous delivery. You’ll work in a modern Agile environment alongside experienced engineers, architects, product specialists and other technology teams. What you’ll be doing Designing, developing and delivering high-quality Java applications and servicesBuilding robust, scalable solutions within a complex financial environmentDriving Test-Driven Development (TDD) and strong automated testing practicesDeveloping and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting continuous deliveryWorking collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum teamContributing to technical design, architecture and engineering best practicesReviewing code and helping raise engineering standards across the teamTroubleshooting complex technical issues and improving application performance and reliabilityWorking closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver valuable outcomes What we’re looking for Strong commercial experience developing applications with JavaExcellent understanding of TDD, unit testing and automated testingStrong experience with CI/CD and DevOps practicesSolid experience working in Agile development environmentsGood understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and clean codeExperience with REST APIs, microservices and distributed systemsComfortable working with Git and modern development toolingStrong problem-solving and communication skillsExperience within financial services, banking, trading or another highly regulated environment would be highly desirable Why join? £100k–£130k salary, depending on experienceWork on a significant finance-sector technology projectModern engineering culture with a genuine focus on TDD, automation and continuous deliveryStrong emphasis on technical quality and engineering best practiceHybrid working: 3 days per week in LondonOpportunity to work alongside highly experienced engineers on complex, high-impact systems If you’re a Senior Java Developer who enjoys solving challenging problems and building software properly — we’d like to hear from you.
