Job Description:
Main purpose of job:
To provide development of new and existing, in-house, applications.
To take an active role in the architecture, design and development of applications.
To mentor junior members of the development team.
Fully understands technical problems and issues with business applications and manages resolution.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Undertake various development projects and ensure that these are implemented to agreed timescales.Provide input on architecture and design for the larger more complex projects.Ensure that development standards and conventions are adhered to throughout all projects.Ensure that all requests are dealt with promptly, and prioritised where necessary.Mentor other members of the team.Advanced knowledge of C#.net/.Net Coe/ASP.NET MVC/Javascript/TypeScript/React/Web ApiGood knowledge of Azure/AWS (Any cloud platform)Advanced knowledge of object orientation and layered application architectureExperience of developing enterprise level applicationsExperience of working within a structured software development/delivery teamStrong interpersonal communication skillsExperience of developing using a TDD/BDD approachKeen interest in learning new technologies and in sharing technical knowledgeWork with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver solutions.Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practicesExperience of working a regulated financial services environmentReactJS/JASON/ SQL Server Programming (stored procs, views, functions, etc)Entity Framework (or similar ORM)Service Oriented ArchitectureScrum/Agile Methodologies
