Front-End Engineer

Key responsibilities Build: develop high-quality, production-ready UI in React, Next.js and TypeScript. Design to code: work directly from Figma with designers to deliver pixel-accurate, responsive and accessible interfaces Integration: connect Uls to backend APIs and event-driven services, handling state, errors and loading gracefully. Conversational Ul: build chat and voice interfaces for Al features, including streaming responses and clear handoff to human support. Quality: write unit, integration and end-to-end tests, and contribute to the automated test harness. Performance and accessibility: optimize load time and rendering, and meet WAG accessibility standards. Design system: build and maintain reusable components and patterns shared across teams. Collaboration: take part in code reviews, sprint ceremonies and technical discussions with backend, Al and product colleagues. Must-have skills Core stack: expert in React, Next.js (App Router, SSR/SSG) and TypeScript. Styling: modern CSS, Tailwind or CSS-in-JS, and responsive design: State and data: React Query, Redux or similar; REST and/or Graph QL API integration. Figma: strong design-to-code workflow and close collaboration with designers. Testing: Jest, React Testing Library and Playwright or Cypress. Accessibility: Practical experience delivering WAG 2.1 AA-compliant Ul. CI/CD: GitHub Actions or similar pipelines. AI-assisted coding: daily, fluent use of tools such as Claude Code, Copilot or Cursor. Agile: real, hands-on agile delivery experience. Cloud: AWS Education • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
