Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and collaborative Software Engineer to contribute to the development, enhancement, and deployment of new and existing software products.
The ideal candidate will have strong Python development experience, a passion for writing high-quality and maintainable code, and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional product and engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications and backend solutions.Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and high-quality Python code following industry best practices.Contribute to the development and enhancement of new and existing products and features.Participate in code reviews, paired programming, testing, debugging, and technical discussions.Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Take ownership of technical and product-related decisions and contribute to the overall product roadmap.Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and data-driven solutions.Work with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and development processes.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate tools and approaches for different technical requirements.Follow an iterative development approach, experiment with new ideas, and continuously improve engineering practices.Troubleshoot production issues and support applications through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong professional experience with Python development.Hands-on experience with one or more Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.Experience working with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.Experience with data engineering/workflow tools such as Kedro and Databricks.Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.Familiarity with software development lifecycle, CI/CD, version control, testing, and deployment practices.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
