In this role, you will focus on protecting our IT infrastructure, monitoring and responding to security incidents, and proactively identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.
You will also contribute to the continuous development of our information security framework and support GDPR and compliance-related activities.
The role is based in Nieder-Olm, Rhineland-Palatinate.
Your Responsibilities
Monitor, identify, and respond to security incidents using technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviewsStrengthen the security of servers, networks, and endpoint devices and manage vulnerabilities through regular vulnerability scanning and penetration testingDrive the remediation of identified security vulnerabilities and continuously improve technical security measuresBuild and further develop information security policies, procedures, and incident response processesSupport GDPR compliance activities, including DPIAs, processing records, data subject rights, and data breach proceduresSupport security awareness initiatives as well as internal and external security and compliance audits
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or a comparable qualificationFluent in Mandarin and business fluent in either English or GermanAt least 5 years of professional experience in information securityAt least 1 year of security management or compliance experience within logistics, parcel/express delivery, or a related industryStrong hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident response, system and network security, and vulnerability managementPractical experience with security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR, as well as vulnerability scanning and penetration testingKnowledge of GDPR and information security compliance; practical experience with GDPR requirements is an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, hands-on, and independent way of workingStrong communication skills and a high level of ownership and integrity
