Test Engineer

Our challenge We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test strategies, creating test cases, executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software products. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $85k - $90k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases.Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to resolve issues.Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and agile ceremonies.Perform API, database, and performance testing as required.Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.Support production validation and post-deployment testing activities.
