MAJOR BANKING CLIENT IS HIRING FOR A FIDESSA DEVELOPER!!! Job Title: Fidessa Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ Work Arrangement: 3 day in office with 2 day WFH Client Industry: Banking Duration: 12 -18 months Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday Description: This role is for an experienced Fidessa developer in the Equities Cash Technology organization. The group supports institutional and retail equities trading desks and is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting multiple production trading applications built on the Fidessa trading platform. A successful candidate needs to have prior hands-on Fidessa implementation experience, in-depth knowledge of the Fidessa architecture, frameworks, and products, and proven track record performing product upgrades with complex onsite customizations. Hands-on FTW implementation experience is a strong plus. Role and Responsibilities: • Support multiple Fidessa trading systems • Integrate Fidessa systems into the Bank’s technology stack • Upgrade product components on a regular basis to keep up with the latest updates • Work with BAs/PM and other developers to satisfy business and regulatory requirements • Onboard the systems to DevOps CI/CD tools Required Skills • 3+ years of Fidessa server-side development experience • Fidessa Product Suite: CASE, FBL, TOP (OMAR, TMAR, PMAC), PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, FDA • FIX protocol • TCL, Unix shell scripting • Platforms: Linux, Windows 10 • Agile SDLC • Front Office Development experience • Understanding of equities trading workflows and general equities market knowledge • Excellent analytical, design, and system integration skills • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in parallel • Takes ownership, pro-active individual with a strong interest to learn the business • Enthusiastic towards completing a task • Candidate should be able to work with little supervision • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline Compensation Hourly Rate: 63$-65$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
