Software Engineer III – C++ Developer Status: Must be legally eligible to work where you live. Resume must be in English Location: Irving, TX Engagement: Contract, Long Term, Full Time Role Summary: Join our team as a C++ Software Engineer where you will be responsible for the design and development of software and automating BDD scenarios. You will interact daily with other team members to ensure that a quality product is delivered in a timely manner. You are expected to be able to own the solution to complex software problems/needs from design to delivery. Tech Stack: C++ (C++11 and above)PythonTest automation (Cucumber, Behave, Gherkin)Unit Testing Frameworks (Google Test, cppUnit)Networking, TCP/IP Socket level communicationsAtlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)Key Responsibilities: Design and implement new product features and modifications to existing features.Build and execute unit tests for application code.Collaborate with Customer Care to resolve software issues.Mentor team members and conduct code reviews.Participate in agile development teams and implement user stories.Write product specifications, designs, and technical manuals.Evaluate third-party products and specifications.Provide development level support throughout the development lifecycle.Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.13+ years of C++ experience on Windows environment.3+ years of Python experience.Experience in leading or managing teams.Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.Agile Development experience.Familiarity with Atlassian tool suite.Preferred Skills: Java, .NETRetail experience, especially in Convenience Store industry and Point of Sale systems.Cloud development experience.PCI compliance, secure development, and data encryption techniques.
