Senior Laravel Software Developer

Behind every one of those pubs sits a technology estate built largely in-house, and we're a hospitality business with a software team rather than a traditional IT department, which makes us a really interesting place to build your career. The role As we continue to grow, we're adding a senior developer to the team who can combine hands-on Laravel development with ownership of how we manage change, releases and secure coding practice across our products. It's a broad, hands-on role with real scope to shape how the team works as it grows. You'll be involved in: Building and maintaining our in-house Laravel applications, plus REST APIs and some iOS work Owning release management and change control across our products, working closely with the rest of the teamLeading our secure development initiative: coding standards, tooling, threat modelling and vulnerability managementTranslating requests from Operations, Finance, kitchens and Marketing into clear, well-sequenced workBeing the person our teams can rely on for a straightforward, plain-English answer What we're looking for Strong commercial Laravel/PHP experience Experience owning change control, release management or delivery processPractical application security knowledge (secure code review, dependency and secrets hygiene)Comfortable with Git, CI/CD and cloud deployment, ideally AWSClear written English and good judgement on when to move fast and when to slow down Nice to have iOS development (Swift/SwiftUI), a security or delivery qualification, hospitality or multi-site experience, and experience coding with AI tools.
