Your mission Joinour Berlin team to develop and operate a situationalawareness platform while building secure AI agent workflows for corporate IT. You will split your time betweenkeeping a live platform reliable and secure and turning business processesinto production-ready AI workflows. This is a hands-on role for an engineerwhoenjoys building across the stack, solving production issues, and takingownership of security and reliability. What you’ll do : Platform development and operations Build new capabilities for a situationalawareness interface.Improve platform reliability, access control, and deployment practices.Investigate production issues, fix their root causes, and improve monitoring and traceability.Maintain the securitybaselinethroughpatching, secrets management, and least-privilegeaccess. Secure AI workflows Turn business processesintofunctional prototypes and production-ready agent workflows.Design workflows thatkeep data fromdifferent business domainsappropriatelyseparated.Build in humanapprovalbefore an agent takes an action that changes data or triggers a process.Make agent actions and transactions traceable and auditable.Integratedifferent AI providers and models, including on-premise options, and select the right model for eachtask.Experimentwithmodels and agent coordination withinclearsecurityrequirements. Your profile You are a hands-on software engineerwho can move between backend development, frontend work, and platform operations. You enjoyturning an unfamiliar process intoworking software, thenmakingitsecure and reliable enough for production. You are curious about AI agents and comfortableexperimenting, whilekeeping control, traceability, and data protection in mind. Must-have : At least threeyears of relevant software engineering experience.Strong hands-on codingskills in Rust, TypeScript, and Python, withexperience building APIs, data pipelines, and integrations.Experience shipping and operating production software, includingdeployment, troubleshooting, and reliabilityimprovements.The ability to understand a business process quickly and turnitinto a functional prototype.A practicalsecuritymindset, includingthreatmodelling, isolation boundaries, and audit trails.Working knowledge of identity and access management and data protection basics, including GDPR.Fluent English, eligibility for security clearance, and nationality of a NATO member country or close ally. Nice to have Experiencewith RAG pipelines or multi-agent orchestration.Experiencewith EU-regioninference or sovereign cloud environments.On-premise model hosting and routingtasksbetween AI models.FamiliaritywithZero Trust architecture.Frontend experience building monitoring dashboards.
