Hiring: Senior AWS DevOps Lead (Architect) Location: London, UK-Hybrid Experience: 10+ Years Contract Duration: 3 Months We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Lead / Architect with strong hands-on experience in AWS architecture, cloud transformation, migration, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical architect who can lead discovery, assessment, solution design, migration planning, and implementation across large enterprise cloud transformation programs. Mandatory Skills ✅ AWS Architecture & Solution Design ✅ AWS Landing Zone & Multi-Account Strategy ✅ Infrastructure Discovery & Assessment ✅ Cloud Migration & Modernization ✅ Terraform – Mandatory ✅ CloudFormation ✅ Kubernetes / Amazon EKS ✅ Docker ✅ CI/CD – GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps ✅ Networking – VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect ✅ Security – IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, WAF ✅ Monitoring – CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus Certifications AWS Solutions Architect – Professional (Preferred) AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional AWS Security Specialty (Good to Have) We are looking for someone who: • Has strong hands-on AWS architecture and DevOps expertise • Can independently handle discovery, assessment, solutioning, and implementation • Is comfortable engaging with client architects, infrastructure teams, and CXO stakeholders • Can define migration strategies, architecture patterns, and DevOps operating models • Is a hands-on technical expert, not just a coordinator or project manager • Has experience supporting large enterprise cloud transformation programs across multiple geographies Key Responsibilities • Lead discovery workshops and infrastructure assessments for cloud transformation programs • Analyze existing on-premise and cloud environments and define modernization roadmaps • Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized AWS architectures • Create HLD/LLD for infrastructure and platform solutions • Lead migration planning, dependency analysis, and workload onboarding to AWS • Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using Terraform and CloudFormation • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation • Provide technical leadership across infrastructure, DevOps, security, and operations teams • Drive platform standardization, governance, and operational best practices • Act as a trusted technical advisor during architecture reviews and solutioning discussions
