IT Infrastructure Manager

We're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the delivery, security and continuous improvement of infrastructure services across our milling business. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine strategic direction with day-to-day operational oversight, leading a skilled infrastructure team and ensuring our critical systems remain secure, resilient and fit for the future. Hours: Full time 40 hours per week The role: Lead, coach and develop the Infrastructure team, creating a high-performing and collaborative culture.Own the performance, availability, resilience and security of infrastructure services across multiple sites.Develop and deliver the infrastructure roadmap, aligning technology investment with business objectives.Lead infrastructure projects and major technology changes from concept through to implementation.Manage strategic suppliers and Managed Service Providers, ensuring service excellence and value for money.Act as the senior escalation point for major incidents, service outages and infrastructure issues, leading technical response and recovery activities when required.Drive continuous improvement through service reviews, performance analysis and proactive problem solving.Oversee cyber security, vulnerability management, disaster recovery, backup and recovery processes, and business continuity arrangements.Ensure compliance with IT governance, risk management, audit and change control processes.Build strong relationships with operational and business stakeholders across the Group.Work collaboratively with the IT Infrastructure Manager (Oils) to deliver consistent, Group-wide infrastructure services.Full driving licence or the ability to travel regularly between Group locations. About you: Proven experience leading technical infrastructure teams.Strong background managing infrastructure services within a complex, multi-site environment.Experience delivering infrastructure projects and managing third-party suppliers or MSPs.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Good understanding of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, cloud services, servers and cyber security.Experience of IT governance, service management and continuous improvement.A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong leadership and decision-making skills. Desirable: ITIL, project management or leadership qualifications.Relevant Microsoft, cloud, networking or cyber security certifications.Experience within manufacturing, food production, distribution or other operationally critical environments.
